Deborah Duvic wanted an unusual christening gown from her wedding dress. She asked us to make a unisex gown with a small collar and then a detachable ornate collar.
We made the unisex gown rather plain with the exception of using some of the WD lace at the hem of the gown. Then, we created a larger, bib collar that slips over the smaller collar. The ornate collar has some tabs with snaps that slip over the neck line and snap into place. There are also a couple of hidden snaps under the collar to help hold it into place.
