Berri sent us her late Aunts fur coat. She wanted a bear made in her Aunt’s memory from it. The coat was Raccoon so it made a really fluffly bear.
“Liane, OMG! My Aunt Bettye Bear just arrived. I have been crying for 10 minutes. She came out perfect. I can still smell my Aunt. Thank you and you team for making a beautiful memory for me!” Berri Winnick
Janice Nunez sent us her late mother’s mink fur jacket to have us make these custom, jointed bears for her grand grandchild and herself.
Dolores Hattendorf sent a shaved beaver fur stole to have this bear made. She gave us free reign to select the eye color and decide whether or not to use the lining for a scarf. We chose blue eyes because they showed up better against the dark fur and I decided not to use the garment lining for the scarf. We used the lining on the ear and paw pads but it wasn’t the nicest lining so I found a bright, colorful fabric for the scarf.
June Chaudet sent us a piece of her fur coat and a strip of the lining to have this bear made for her granddaughter. Black fur is hard to photograph, but he is very soft and cuddly.
Susan Stannard sent a mink boa that belonged to her late mother to have this bear made for her sister’s birthday. I think her sister is going to be very pleased with this special gift.
