Gloria sent her wedding dress to have us make a christening outfit for her granddaughter. The wedding dress had some pretty materials to work with. One of the things that older dresses (especially ones from the late 70s and early 80s) often have is some beautiful lace. However, it can be hard to tell just how beautiful the lace is because, back then, it was usually gathered. I like to take the gather out of the lace and use it flat so you can see the pretty, delicate pattern.
