As an artist, my passion is sewing, however I do enjoy other art forms as well and one of those art forms that I particularly enjoy is the ancient art of calligraphy and Illumination.
For the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a small Christian school locally to provide each graduate with a scripture (chosen by the school staff) done in hand calligraphy and illuminated. This year, Dominion Academy had twelve graduates and these are the verses that I created for them.
Each verse is hand lettered. The illuminations are done in a combination of ink, dies and metallic paints.
