Carla’s wedding dress was covered in beautiful lace with beads througout. We chose to use the lace as the overskirt to the christening gown but we ended up using the lining material for the underskirt instead of the heavier satin that the WD used. This gave the gown a nice flow and kept it from getting too heavy for an infant to wear comfortably. The romper is made from the heavier satin with some of the lace on the faux vest.
