A First Grandson’s Outfit

Bernadette sent me her wedding gown to have a romper made for her first grandson as well as a kerchief for her daugther’s coming wedding. Her gown had some beautiful older lace that had colored with age. We decided to use that on the faux vest of the romper. It made such a beautiful little man’s outfit.

I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart what you did for me and my family for my new grandsons christening outfit.You went way above what I thought it was going to look like, we were away and I received the box, my husband and I both sat in such a state when we saw what you made from my gown. it is so beautiful and unique I can’t tell you how I felt. I sat and cried on how it turned out. you are right it is an heirloom and hopefully many generations will wear this outfit. the cap was also perfect. I love the bonnets but for this outfit that cap is going to look great.

Also thank you for the bib, I cried with that too, it is so perfect.

I will take pictures of my grandson at his christening and will certainly send you some and write a note about what you did for us. your work is superb and I already have been telling people about you and your web site.

Also thank  you so much for the handkerchief you made, I will be giving that to my daughter at her bridal shower at the end of this month and I know for certain she will carry it with her with pride, she always loved my gown and said it was a shame that people don’t do anything with their wedding dresses. so when she sees what I did she will be thrilled.

Don’t you worry if I have a grand daughter you better be ready with your magic cause I will be calling on you. Thank you again for everything …
